Fastnet Rovers was founded in 1988 with the establishment of the first senior team in Div. 3 of the Wexford Football League.

St Anne’s Athletic Club was founded on March 14th 1979 in the Parish Hall, Rathangan.
St Anne’s Ladies Football Club “kicked off” on Friday January 12th 2001. The first committee included Majella Berry (Chairperson), Jenny Cloney (Assistant Chairperson), Ger Banville (Secretary), Josephine Kavanagh (Treasurer), Eileen Berry (Assistant Treasurer) and Sharon Mernagh (PRO).
